In short: Ecuhawk links tests to requirement IDs and records every run in a report, an audit log and plain test files, which supports ASPICE test evidence. Ecuhawk is not yet qualified as a tool under ISO 26262. Documentation to help with tool classification is planned.
What helps today
- Requirement IDs on every test, shown in results and reports.
- Reports for every run with measured values, limits, verdicts and timestamps.
- Audit log of every write to the bench, including refused writes and who or what asked for them.
- Tests as plain YAML files, so changes can be reviewed and versioned in Git.
- Recordings of the bus for every run when you need the raw evidence.
ASPICE
ASPICE asks for traceability from requirements to tests and for recorded test results. Ecuhawk's requirement IDs, reports and versioned test files support the test processes (SWE.6 and SYS.5). ASPICE rates your process, not a tool, so Ecuhawk helps you produce the evidence.
ISO 26262 tool qualification
Under ISO 26262 part 8, you classify the tools you use and, where needed, qualify them. Ecuhawk does not have a qualification kit or certificate today. We plan to provide documentation that helps with tool classification. If your project needs a qualified tool now, a certified tool chain is the right choice for that work.
Planned
- Requirement import from ReqIF and CSV, and links to tools such as Jira, Polarion and codeBeamer.
- Coverage view: which requirements have tests and which passed.
- Tool classification documentation for ISO 26262.
Questions
Is Ecuhawk ISO 26262 qualified?
No, not yet. Documentation to help with tool classification is planned. For work that needs a qualified tool today, use a certified tool chain.
Does Ecuhawk help with ASPICE?
Yes. Requirement IDs on tests, reports for every run and versioned test files support ASPICE test evidence.
Can Ecuhawk import requirements from Jira or Polarion?
Not yet. Requirement import and links to these tools are planned. Today the AI can read requirement documents in Markdown, text, CSV, YAML or JSON.
